Phil Molay is a veteran graphic designer and design educator. He has decades of professional design experience working for regional and national clients including Columbia University, Pepsi, Neiman Marcus, Tulane University, Generator Supercenter, Dresser Utilities, Cardozo Law School, and Superior Energy Services.
With a B.F.A. in Graphic Design from Louisiana State University in 1995, Phil started his career as an in-house designer at Fossil Watches working on the private-label team for Disney and Warner Brothers.
He later co-founded MoonShine Studio, a boutique design firm in New Orleans serving clients across the Gulf Coast. In 2014 Phil started Industry Graphics, specializing in the design needs of the core industries of southwest Louisiana and Texas.
Throughout his career, Phil has mentored students, interns, and designers. He has taught design principles and industry-specific software skills to design students at Remington College (Metairie, LA), Delgado University (New Orleans, LA), and is currently an Adjunct Professor teaching Motion Design Studio and Graphic Design classes in the Tulane University School of Professional Advancement's on-line Media + Design program.
Phil earned his M.F.A. in Media Design at Full Sail University in 2023, graduating as Valedictorian of his class.
